What an incredibly busy yet amazingly successful weekend for AMS. On Friday we did a wedding at the Pavilion at Crystal Lake in Middletown. It was wonderful. The staff was wonderful to work with and the food was terrific. The view of Crystal Lake from the ballroom was wonderful and was. Complemented by a beautiful purple op wash courtesy of DJ Erin. A few days before the wedding the brides mother upgraded to a full lighting package which looked great.

On Saturday we couldn’t wait to get to Northhampton to check out The Northhampton Center for the Performing Arts. This incredible ballroom is actually the former auditorium in the original Northhampton high school built in 1901. As he walked through the over 100-year-old hallways you could feel the presence of everything that has happened in the building. Antique relics like this 100-year-old piano with ebony and ivory keys were scattered throughout the building. The antique architecture was contrasted by the modern life system that made the room look even more beautiful. The bride and groom were both school teachers and the majority of the guests were teachers as well so having a wedding at this venue was very appropriate.

On Sunday we attended Diamond Ring Productions bridal show at the fantasia ballroom in North Haven Connecticut. We were excited to see this venue and to meet some other vendors in our field. Our photo booth was set up in the lobby and our DJ and lighting booth was set up in the main ballroom.

Now it’s time to gear up for the big wedding this Thursday night at The Society Room in Hartford.

Stay tuned for more info.
