This was a big weekend for AMS. On Saturday night we had two weddings going on at the same time. Jared and Carrie were at Michael and Christie’s wedding at The Gershon Fox Ballroom a.k.a. 960 in Downtown Hartford. This is the first time we’ve ever performed at this venue. This gorgeous ballroom is in what was once the GFox Building in Downtown Hartford.
At the same time Mike and Erin were at Geoff and Annalies’ wedding at The Inn at Longshore in Westport Connecticut, also a first-time venue for AMS. Arriving moments before the big storm everything was loaded in just in time. The service and food at this venue was amazing. The staff tended to our every needs and even brought us dessert.
The next day we attended the Gay and Lesbian Wedding Expo put on by RainbowWeddingNetwork.com. While this was unfortunately a lightly attended event we got our first taste of a new market and met a whole series of different vendors. Now time to clean up and get all geared up for this coming weekend!
